More Two Peas Digi Kits

I always light up when I see one of Jen Martakis's new digkits. I outlined one of her elements to make it look like a stamped image. Here is the digikit and I encourage you to check it out.

These are my two favorite loves! This black pen I use to outline some of my images and know what I do with the white pen. Not only is it white but, it was a special gift. I hope you weekend was great1 Hugs, Kathy

So Many Birthday's

Hello Friends, I feel like I have been so out of touch and when I look at the calendar things aren't looking any better. My son is graduating from high school this year so prom is around the corner, beach week and camps etc. I know everyone is busy too and I really admire everyone who can mulit task and hold it all together. Looks like everyone will be getting late Birthday cards and this is the first of the batch.
My goal was to start the card with a sketch challenge and I found one at Simon Says here.
I used digi image from The Greeting Farm available here  and pulled out my Copic markers. I added scales with a Spica glitter pen and the hair is all glitter. I wish you could see the shimmer. I hope you aren't getting tired of my dots....I just can't stop myself. I have been a doodler all my life and that's partly why...just have to add my doodles.
Have a great start of the week. Hugs,Kathy

I love my Two Peas DigiKits

I love this DigiKit by Betsy Tuma called French Country. The papers are so beautiful and so many wonderful elements etc. I chose to use this beautiful brush as my stamp on some white card stock. I colored it with Copic markers and used a white pen to add some dots. Available at Two Peas

This is such a beautiful DigiKit by Wilna Furstenberg. Actually each and everyone is a work of art. I was inspired to use this particular mini album kit to make a card for my Aunt. Even though this is a mini album DigiKit it can be used for other projects. See the kit here
Have a great day :) Hugs,Kathy

Another Greeting Farm Contest

Sorry this is a super quick post. If you have questions please send me an email. Hope all is good!
Hugs, Kathy

This little critter is so fun to color or stamp on patterned paper. I drew this plaid on "her"

I couldn't resist giving him another golden tooth.

Sorry :)

Oh I am so happy it's Friday  because it's been a long week and I finally had a small chunk of time to make a card...feels so good!  I'm so sorry that I haven't visited any of your blogs. We have workmen 24/7 in our house and I can't focus or concentrate on anything. I made this Thank You card

for the author of this book.

Her mom sent me a copy and it's such a treasure! It was great to reach for some of my SRM speedy and such a time saver.

Supplies: Hero Arts Birds and Branch # CL337, Soft Blossom Ink, Grass Chalk Ink and the butterflies are cut from HERE

One thing I have been doing is walking with my lovely neighbors in the morning and making these green shakes. I was surprised how yummy this is. So light and refreshing too!

 Here is the recipe:

1/2 Apple
1 1/2 Cup coconut milk or water
3 large leaves of kale
Some fresh cilantro or parsley
1 inch piece of ginger root

Put in a blender liquids first. Then mix away. If you make it I would love to know if you love this too.

I hope you all have a lovely and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! Hugs,Kathy

A New Squigglefly Challenge

The challenge this week is to create a bookmark and I think it's a great idea. My mom is an avid reader so I took this opportunity to create one for her for this Mother's Day. The image was easy...I have a digi fairy that drops these awesome images in my inbox every so often so I get real excited to create. You can get this image designed by Jackie Mathews at Squigglefly HERE . The challenge details you can find on Squigglefly's blog HERE .

Hero Arts: Friendship Definition #CG125 (background on petals)-Screen, K5107 (on flower pot)-Starburst Lace, S5317 (on bottom of kraft)-Happy Mom’s CL334 (sentiment) -Punch EK Success Open Scallop-Ranger Distress Inks

I had fun coloring this adorable image. Yes, you guessed it...I used Copic markers, cut the leaves, stamped them and the flower pot then glued them onto another image. The first paper I made a long time ago with some color washes. I love how the ribbon fit right into the loopy boarder and I added Glossy Accents on the ladybug and eyes. The punch is from EK Success. Have a wonderful week! Hugs, Kathy

The Golden Tooth

Just a fun quick share.... Can you see the little guy's golden tooth?

Also they will be choosing a random Hopper from each day and a card sketch challenge with another chance to receive a prize package. I hope you have a wonderful weekend !

The bird stamp is from the Paper Source, background and branch is from Hero Arts and Bo Bunny Paper.

Welcome to SRM's Bunny Hop with Bo Bunny

Happy 4th

I'm so happy you are here and I bet you just came from the oh so talented Amy's BLOG . Just in case you missed the details for the hop it's pretty straight forward. What's  required is to hop to each blog and return to SRM Stickers BLOG and leave a  comment that you have completed the Hop. A random commenter will be chosen from each day's hop participants to receive a SRM Stickers Prize Package!

I really LOVED working with my Bo Bunny papers, gems, buttons, ribbon and chipboard! Look at this yummy chipboard flower

Did you know you can color  chipboard? I added some color with Copic markers and many white dots with a gel pen. I also traced the outlines with a black pen so the colors would pop more.

I loved this paper so I decided to cut out the brown scallop shape and add pop dots to frame the flower and give the card lots of dimension. Did you know these big yummy gems are from Bo Bunny too.

Here is the sketch challenge for the hop and my interpretation .

All the sentiments on these cards are from same sheet of SRM stickers and they can be purchased  HERE . Notice this looks just like a firecracker to me so I thought it was perfect to combine with the July 4th stickers. All the words in the background are from the same sticker sheet.

Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope you have found some inspiration. YOUR NEXT STOP WILL BE the talented (and digital designer)  JEN MARTAKIS .
