This card was inspired by Nathalia's card here that I saw in "Penny Circle" Flickr group. Thanks Nathalia :) When I was little I loved playing with paper dolls and creating this card took be back thirty or so. I took some hats from my PB Halloween stamps to use as party hats for this card. Don't forget about the SRM blog hop ....there is always great prize packages  up for grabs. See you then...

Lucy and Jennifer oh my ............ and a giveaway

Hello friends, Today I have a surprise for you. Jennifer McGuire, Lucy Abrams and I have teamed up  this week for a "Trio Challenge". We thought it would be fun to show you how different one stamp can look with our three different styles. Just click on their names to see the card they created with this stamp from Penny Black. I can't wait to see myself and I know I will be blown away by both Lucy and Jennifer's cards.

Also IF YOU LEAVE YOUR NAME AT THE VERY END OF THIS POST YOU CAN WIN THIS STAMP BELOW. I will use to select the winner at the end of our "Trio Challenge" on October 14th.

Jumpin for Joy

I LOVE this joyful and happy stamp from PB. If you peek at the card below this post you will see the same hedgehog holding a large envelope instead of the holly. I colored this with Copic markers and added white dots on the holly. Glossy Accents on the holly berries is a must. See you tomorrow and happy stamping. Hugs, Kathy

P.S. Here is the Penny Black blog and Penny black web site  just in case you forgot to stop by?? :) I recommend you check out Penny Black's new challenge. The winner will receive $100.00 in stamps. It doesn't get any better than that! :)

A new Caardvarks Challenge is today

and the challenge is to scrap-lift one of the Crew's cards. You can find more info here. The Caardvark DT crew is being sponsored by SRM stickers here. As most of you know I love SRM stickers so I was thrilled to get SRM's new release to work with. Did you know that they have white sticker sentiments too? Here are my cards for the challenge. The first one doesn't have any stamped images or white dots ...can you believe that? It was hard so I had to make another card with a stamped image and some dots.

Below you will see in the supply list you will see the paper and die cuts I used to make the flowers. I distressed the edges of the petals and the every button is a vintage button. The sticker sentiment is listed below as well.

This textured "paper" is actually book binding tape from Paper Source. I was curious to see what you could do with it and I love the texture. (they have it in several colors) I colored the cow with some Copic markers and got out my trusty gel pen for the white dots. Love this dotted background stamp by Penny Black. I'll be back tomorrow with a fun surprise and a little giveaway.
Have a great day! Hugs, Kathy

Happy Haunting

Hello my friends, I'm sorry I haven't had much time to visit you at your blogs :(. It's been crazy around here and I'm lucky if I can squeeze in enough time to design and post my cards. Today you will see this card on The Penny Black Blog here.
happy haunting

I used some neutral paper scraps and some distress ink to color the moon and the orangy yellow label. I used a 3 inch circle to cut the moon free hand. After applying orange marmalade I sprayed the moon with water for that textured effect. The brown panel I stamped the script background in walnut distress ink. The hedges were colored with the Copic markers listed below. The sticker sentiment is from SRM stickers. These critters could be cut away from their broom and the hats can be made into party hats.
Have a great week and I will be back tomorrow. Hugs,Kathy
