Two totally different cards today

Hello Friends, How was your week so far? Any fun plans for the weekend??
Today I have two cards for you today. A sticker card from Penny Black and a sticker card from SRM.

The first one is from  SRM stickers. SRM is having a reunion on their blog today with previous design team members & you can check all the cards out here. Even though I'm no longer on the team I still use my stickers because I love them. When I don't have time or the patience to look through my stamps I grab a sheet of my stickers...makes my life easier.
Anniversary Card
I colored this image on vacation so I customized my background to blend with the colors on the flower. If you are wondering how I created this background you can see a tutorial this post. I just changed the colors of distress ink. This is a photo before I stamped this circular background stamp from PB.
Note the "grass" is green just came out dark in the photo :(

I love the texture of watercolor paper to use as a card base. I used Copic and Tombow markers to color my flower and distress ink on the heart that I cut with a Spellbinders heart die. I used some of SRM stickers numbers to create my "50". Here is the SRM store. I mixed two Ultra Fine flower soft for the center. You will find them below in the supply list.

Anniversary Card
You will be seeing more piercing and sewing on my projects because I recently have purchased the right tools. I did a tutorial for Lily Pad demonstrating Sew Easy. You can check it out here in case you missed it :)

TODAY on the Penny Black BLOG we are sharing with you a sticker feature with cards from the entire design team!! That's right I said   "stickers".  Were you aware that Penny Black has stickers...well you will be in for a treat. The center panel of my card is a STICKER so that means the image is a sticker!! Gasp!!

Now that you have caught your breath you can see a close up. I cut out another sticker and mounted it on some scrap paper and added some pop dots to the back. The yummy paper around the sticker center is Basic Grey.

Are you in love with my antique buttons? I find it hard to let go of them but, this green floss from Sew Easy helped me let go. The sentiment is a stamp and I cut the shape from a Spellbinder die called wonky rectangles. I decided to use the scraps that I cut for my card for the inside.

I will be back this weekend to answer a few of your questions. As always I am so grateful that you stop by. I know I say this all the time but, it comes from the heart. Thanks!! Hugs, Kathy
