New penny black is in stock!!

Hello Friends, Just a quick post that I just had to share...... I am so excited with these new stamps that Penny Black just released. Have you seen them??? I just heard that they are in stock...wah hooo!

Love the movement on these elves....yes there are TWO!!  This one was colored with Copic markers and  two background stamps were used on the ornament . I embossed this one called "Circles & Lines" with white embossing powder. After stamping I distressed the ornament. The round frame was created with Spellbinder's circles so I could float the elf.
These are the NEW six stamps that were just released last week when I was away. The elves and the houses are from a new & very talented artist to Penny Black and her name is MO .... I mentioned her last week in this post. Here is her blog so you can see lots of her other beautiful digital images for sale.

                NEWLY RELEASED STAMPS:
Just had to pop in and share the news. If you are a club member you have already seen some of these stamps a few weeks ago. Want to become a Penny Black Club Member so you don't miss out on sneak peeks and special here. Have a great day! Hugs, Kathy

christmas gift tags with a twist

Christmas tag with a twist #1
Hello Friends, How are you?? I missed you all.... I snuck away to Italy for a week to visit some vineyards on a wine tour sponsored by a local wine shop. My husband and I traveled with another couple that we adore ... it was the longest I have ever left my daughter and was happy to arrive home safely.  As you might image it was a great week full of wine and food.....we literally ate and drank our way through Italy & we lucked out with great weather.  Before I left I prepared some posts  and I really appreciate you stopping by.... it was fun to come home and read all of your comments. I found it hard not to have any access to internet or my cell phone!

This week Penny Black is giving you daily inspiration of all different kids of Christmas tags. Mine are on the Penny Black Blog today. I thought I would share some non traditional tags with vellum accents.
Christmas tag with a twist #2
I love using vellum as an overlay with some scored accents. After I punched the hole at the top I found these wonderful little reinforcers from Tim Holtz. So nice not to have to fuss with the regular white reinforcers.

is the flower die cut from Spellbinders. I attached the vellum with vellum tape and layered the flowers with scrap dots ( you must allow proper drying time though) . The tape only works well on lighter colors I found. Did you see that I am giving away a package of these flowers to a random winner?? This is the post with the details.
Still have a little jet lag so off to bed for me. Thank you for stopping by. Hugs, Kathy
