Hello Friends, I have a super quick share for you today. This card was created for my Uncle that recently retired from decades of work in the field of agriculture. He did work with cows so I thought this Penny Black image was perfect.
This may go in the record book for the shortest post ever for me. I am in the process of trying to break some old habits, prioritizing what's important and reflecting for the upcoming new year.
Have a happy day! Hugs, Kathy
P.S. I cut this die for the "tag" with the SRM sentiment.

Hello Friends, How are you today?? Today's project you may have seen on the Penny Black Blog? PB is showcasing "anything but, a card" this week...fun!
When I say "moving" does it raise your blood pressure?? Moving is so stressful .... I thought I would create a shadow box frame to cheer up a friend up & help remind her what's important. She's always saying how important it is to take time for the little things therefore, I felt this applied to her situation before she moves, during and after.
My cloud is a little crooked..yikes! The GA wasn't dry when I took the photo so the cloud slipped :(
I was so excited to finally put this stamp press to use and I was so delighted and relieved that this "Victorian Home" fit so perfectly in the truck. All you have to do is stamp, color and cutout your images. Apply Glossy accents to wheels, windshield and the front head light.
If you look closely you can see the reflection of my phone (camera) in most of these photos.... I tried several times in different areas and different ways without any success. The background is part of the "photo" that comes with the frame. I thought it was perfect starting point. When I see a small frame on sale I purchase it for project on a rainy or snowy day.The clouds were attached with Glossy Accents and the images were attached with Scrap Dots.
I almost forgot that I stamped extra shutters and used more Scrap Dots to attach them.I apologize for not having a list of Copic colors for you & I did use some Tombow markers on parts of the house. The windows have a nice coat of Glossy Accents on them & look cool in person. Any questions?? Thank You again for your visit it's always appreciated. Hugs, Kathy
Hello Friends, Happy Monday to you. I have been wanting to share my knife rests with you for awhile now. Today I thought would be appropriate because the "Create:" blog is sharing how I like to use antiques in my studio.
Knife rests can be used to support your favorite cards, quotes, dinner menu's etc. Look in your local antique stores or thrift stores and on line too.
You will find that when you entertain your friends or family that these will give your table that little something extra.
There were only two in this particular set... but, I had to add them to my collection because the price was right.
You will find that these work wonderful in your scrap space and into your table settings. Stop by later in the week to see how I incorporated knife rests into my "Tablescapes" Thanks for your visit and a big thanks to the "Create:" blog for featuring my studio.
Have a great day! Hugs, Kathy
Hello Friends, How was your weekend and or Thanksgiving?? I really took some time away from the computer and crafting to spend time with family. My daughter, niece and I went shopping on Black Friday at 4:30 am!! It's become a tradition that we enjoy & a great way to get started with the Christmas list.
This particular Spellbinder Die is only available at "Crafters Home"
After coloring the ornament I stamped it with this Penny Black cling stamp that I use all the time on backgrounds. Here is another card I created with this same stamp. Just popping in with a quick post today. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Hugs, Kathy
