Giveaway - July's Card Kit

July Card Kit from SSS
Hello Friends, I have been meaning to post these cards for days but, it's been crazy! It's that time of the month where I am lucky to give away  Simon Say's Card Kit for JULY!! Just leave any kinda comment & I'll draw a winner next week. (if you have purchased this card kit you will be refunded for your purchase.)
I had to use this die called "Bella Bloom" with my kit...the papers were just to me.
I cut the squares with my Spellbinders square dies . All of the fun banners are in the kit and don't forget to notice this stamp set that's included. (Another great stamp set guaranteed to please.)

I can't stop with one all the papers and can see the washi tape down the center? So easy to layer and add color in a snap! Love how I am getting a nice collection washi tape from different card kits.
Quick tip...if you add some distress ink to your patterned papers they light up and look more vibrant. I hope your summer is off to a good start. Enjoy your weekend!! Hugs, Kathy

P.S. What do you think of my new back ground?? Should I keep it?? The white is slightly off.

I am giving away this great stamp set

Wishing you...
Hello Friends, How are you today?? I hope your weekend was full of sunny skies and easy breezes :) I had some time to work on a few cards so as you can imagine I was a happy girl.
Today... I have a giveaway for you...this wonderful exclusive stamp set from Simon Says Stamp designed by Kristina Werner
(I was lucky to meet Kristina this spring and she is so lovely and so sweet .)
I replaced the center star with a crackle heart. You can read more about that in my last post here with this punch from Martha Stewart. Below I will explain what I did to the boarder to give it a unique twist. If you look closely in this photo some of the dots are filled with Glossy Accents for some dimension.

You can see this Simon Says Exclusive die here and all the other ones too. I can't tell you how much fun I am going to have with these. First I die cut the kraft paper twice and a few of the dots stayed on the paper...the others fell out. I carefully turned my paper over and added glossy accents to the dots that decided to not fall out as fast. I wanted them to stay put. Then I die cut some blue paper and lined it up slightly off center behind my kraft paper. I trimmed it and added some brown distress ink.

This is the exclusive stamps set I am giving away. All you need to do is say hello in the comment area. I'll randomly draw a winner next week :)
Wishing you good luck and stay tuned...soon I will be giving away the July Card Kit here.(If you have purchased it you will receive a refund for July's card kit).
Have a happy day and thanks for visiting me. Hugs, Kathy

mini quick cards with crackle heart

June Card Kit
Hello Friends, These mini cards were created from a part of a card that I cut off. You can see that card here. All of these yummy papers etc. are from Simon Says June Card Kit. I LOVE the exclusive stamp set in this kit called "Beautiful Words" . The Simon Says exclusive stamps are made in the USA (LOVE that) and they stamp with any ink beautifully! Now that May's card kit is on the horizon this set is up for sale.

I added some of this paper to the mix. Love the light kraft color and how smooth it is.
This punch is  a new love.
I punched these hearts from May's Card Kit.... I placed the hearts on the sticky side of a post it so the hearts stay in place when I add the crackle accents. Once that's dry I added some gelatos to accentuate the cracks or some distress ink. Thanks for popping in...stay tuned for a giveaway for July's new card kit :) See you Friday for one of Penny Black's new adorable stamps. Hugs, Kathy
