Hello Friends, As you know it's still STAMPtember™ at Simon Says Stamp and even though you saw these I still wanted to share them on my blog just in case you missed them.

Creating these four cards was a labor of love that I enjoyed immensely! I would love to hear if you have tried this technique (USING THE MINI MISTERS WITH COPIC INK??) If you missed my guest spot at Simon Says you can see it here. Below I will give you a quick refresher... if you are on. Supply list will be at the bottom. :)

Stamp twice ...once on the masking paper. Cut image away from the masking paper and place on your card stock. Keep in mind the cutting doesn't have to be prefect because you will be blending with the same ink.
Spray your papers using this color catcher. If you dont' have one I recommend it. These are the colors I used. First I started with ONE color then decided to add another one. So much fun!

Once you lift your mask off put it back onto the blue backing of the masking paper. Use a Copic marker to add a darker color from the same family to highlight your image
Learn from your I should have masked off the snowy area so instead I blotted off some of the color with the various ink and colored it green.
Then use a rag and the various ink to add texture to your grass. Use a heat gun after coloring so you don't over saturate your paper. I added a pink highlight around the image for something different and covered the snowy dots with enamel accents.

Don't you love what enamel accents can do. I always use it for animals eyes and usually the nose too.
The snow that was on the stamp needed to come from somewhere so I used this cloud die to complete my card. Notice the wobble spring behind the how these give an nice edge to your cards. I trimmed my wobble sprint to fit behind his head. I think that's it...Any questions just send me an email or if you want to share that would be lovely too. I know you are busy so a big thanks for taking the time to pop in. Have a great day! Hugs, Kathy

world card making day

Hello Friends!! I'm so excited that today is World Card Making I thought it was but, I found out it's really on October but, I decided to procede and celebrate anyway with some of my favorite things. Basic Grey, Copic Markers, Penny Black, Simon Says Stamp die cuts, Spellbinders and SRM stickers. They really are my favorites and if you poke around my blog you will find it's true.
This leaf from Penny Black called fall foliage is perfect for fall and it can be colored to change with the seasons.

Don't you love the strip with the holes?? It's one of Simon Say's dies that I use all the time. The sentiment is from this SRM stickers. I used a big, fat vintage button to tie everything together... literally! As you may have guessed the yummy paper is from Basic Grey and the Spellbinders die is Labels of my favorites.  I colored the leaf with Copic markers and drew a line with glossy accents for veins in the leaves. I hope with  my upcoming move that I will be back for the correct World Card Making Day. Have a great week! Hugs, Kathy
