cardstock day 2

Hello Friends, I back with a super quick post today because I'm trying to accomplish this on my phone. This card is my day two  of what I'm calling "my cardstock card" not a very clever title but, I hope you will like the card.

cardstock day 1

Hello Beautiful Friends, How are you? I created a series of three cards before Simon Says Stamp released their new colors. It's amazing how often I reach for these bold colors but, in the last release the spring colors....I could bathe in them.

Here are the new colors and they work so beautifully with many of the bold colors:

It's fun to cut some strips of cardstock and glue them down. Of course a beautiful die cut brings it all together like this "Hello" and "Beautiful". Put some color on the inside for a bright pop when the recipient opens your card. Die cut your sentiment several times for more dimension. I love flipping the word for a design element. P.S. Have you tried this post it masking tape? It's awesome for holding down dies, stencils and great for masking. Great invention!
