Ornament Card

Ornament Card

The Challenge for Hero Arts this week is to make a simple Holiday card. I was inspired by all the artists this week and Lucy's penguin tags so I just had to purchase this penguin digi kit. I downloaded the penguins and chose one to print on heavy card stock. I have to really force the paper into my printer for it to print. Then I cut out the penguin , mount it on my scrap(just happened to be stamped with the pine tree). Cut with a circle out of cardboard and adhere it to the back of the images so it will be heavy and sturdy. Then I used "UTEE" Ultra thick embossing powder on the ornament. After four coats the area is covered and smooth. I had a package of 30mm hoop (for earrings) that I attached between the red circle and the circle with the penguin. This ornament will hold up and can be removed easily from the card. I hope you get an idea of the thickness and dimension. Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,Kathy
P.S. Here is Lucy's blog for more digi cards
