Make your own doily & more winners

Hello Friends, I have lots to share with you today. I am just beaming with something new that I just purchased. First ... the challenge.. it's that time at Simon Says Stamp Challenge BLOG. I hope you will check it out. I want to remind you that each week a random winner will be selected for a $50.00 certificate.

These yummy cupcakes are from Unity stamps here. The product that I am really really excited about is this Piercing Mat..... it saves you  soooo much time & it works so beautifully !!!!!!!!! I discovered that if I pierce the punched holes with this Martha Stewart punch I can create a the appearance of a doily. After I pierced (with this handy tool) inside the punched holes I added some faux stitching with this white gel pen. See below for a close up.

All of these supplies will be listed below and as well as the Copic colors. To create the "wall paper" background I used this Penny Black paisley stamp that I use for almost everything. The Paisley Background stamp was inked up with Worn Lipstick & a little Rusty Hinge distress ink. I also added layered the two distress inks to distress the corners. The papers are "Summer Sun" & "Rose Garden" from Penny Black's mix and match papers and the card base is a craft note card from Jillibean.  I almost forgot the yummy cupcakes. I stamped the icing one more time. Once they were colored I added Rock Candy distress stickles to the pink & red icing. Have you seen this new handy Glossy Accents? I added that to my cherry. I also use GA to adhere EVERYTHING!  I rarely use a tape runner. Glossy Accents will out live me :) Ok befoe I go ....one more thing........

Check this out! Inlinkz has a new fancy feature.
The feature is AWESOME and it will select the winners for you and email the winners. Isn't that COOL? Bye bye Random Generator. See the winning names displayed below??
What will Inlinkz come up with next??? I certainly hope it's something because they are brilliant.
Congrats Katherine and Nancy K. Please email me your address to kathyrac@mac.com and put "color throwdown" in the subject line. A huge thanks to Alice, Arlene, Barb, Brenda, Calypso, Cathy, Doreen,  Katherine, Kelly,  Lin, Paula, Patricia, Patricia GJ,  Nancy, Suzanne & Ujjwal for submitting your cards for the the color challenge. :) I loved all of  your cards and was grateful that I didn't have to choose a winner. This is stunning & your techniques add so so much interest..... it's the detail that really makes a project. I love the layered inking & the way you have added faux stitching outside that base matting - lovely & different & giving a lovely softer edge to the whole.
I too love using Glossy Accents & it lasts ages........
