How was your Mother's Day? I usually find myself reflecting about my expectations...lol
Are they to high?? What really is Mother's Day?? A good meal with family ?? I do love the fact that it's a great day to hopefully make my Mom and Bonus Mom feel special.
I needed to make a special card for an amazing man.
Nicole taught me how to use the Silhouette and I took photos instead of notes. Well.....wouldn't you know... I deleted the photos and haven't had time to figure it out. I love having the ability to cut out jumbo letters. Here is another card with large letter that I created with the silhouette.

Gorgeous card. Laughing at your description of Mother's Day! My hubby went sailing on Mother's Day in March and left me with my little guys! Turned out to be a wonderful day as I spent some of it with my own Mom & Dad.

Sweet card, love that owl! We spent the weekend with my Mom and sister (and Daddy, too!) so it was a special one.
Our mothers day is inMarch, so it was an ordinary day for me! I hope you were made to feel special by you darling children and hubbie?

What a sweet card! :) I have not been adventurous enough to buy anything other than a Cricut to cut stuff out with. But perhaps one day I will. Thanks for more creative inspiration!

There's so muhc in this delightful card, I jsut sat looking & kept finding more detail. The fence the owl is sitting on & the way he is holding the 'U" & then the orange pattern of the letters that is just slightly different from the background orange & the aqua that peeps through..... well that's just a start. Terrific.
