Hello Friends. This week Penny Black's blog is featuring thank you cards created with Christmas stamps. I find myself using certain Christmas stamps all year & the stamps on this card are no exception. Have you heard of the new Le Plume alcohol markers?? They are quite a bargain for $2.99 & they blend beautifully. I used them on my hedgehog. If you want to add more colors to your stash or just getting started I would encourage you to try them.
It's not often I use acetate but, I need to get it out more because I love the look acetate gives your card. The SRM sticker sentiment was prefect for the inside because the sentiments are nice and long. After completing my card I decided to add the super sweet hedgehog. Which one do you like better??
The inside I used a Spellbinder die that I am always reaching for. To create the background I embossed with clear powder onto white card stock with this stamp, distressed and stamped again but, with distress ink this time. Before I forget this is the 6x6 paper pack I used on the butterflies and the inside trip. Let me know if you have more information. I was in my kitchen for 12 hours straight and am pretty whipped. Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Hugs, Kathy

Gorgeous Kathy... that background stamping is stunning. I definitely like the one with the hedgehog :)
Fun composition that had me really intrigued. Definitely prefer Hedgie one - it's the way he's holding that flower
& the positioning that makes it so eye catching. Hope you recover from the marathon cook/entertaining.

Cute card! Haven't heard of the new markers but I'm looking for some inexpensive, well-blending markers so I'll have to keep an eye out for these! :)
