Catalog card

Enjoy
Hello Friends,
Just a super quick post to share today. I love this sweet image called  "Shop & Tweet" from Penny Black's new 2010 catalog. I colored her with Copic markers and added some distress ink on the edges. (I added the polka dots on her shirt) Stitching was added on the cards edge with this. The cheerful papers are from Penny Black's mix & match collection. Enjoy the rest of your week. Hugs, Kathy
P.S. I am teaching this Sunday and have a fun technique that I can't wait to share with you.

Hello Friends,  Just a quick share today with a stamp that I love ..... especially the grass !

Home Sweet Home

I don't think I could cut this grass without these scissors.

Here are two cards I created with the grass and here too. The white paper is 140 LB from my local art store. The beautiful green papers you can see here. The sentiment strip is from this Spellbinder die.
Thank you for visiting me I really appreciate it and I hope your Easter is a special day. Hugs, Kathy

2011 Spring Catalog

Hello Friends, Today I thought that I would share a quick close up of the Penny Black catalog in case have only seen this on line. This is the cover that I created for Penny Black's last catalog. Pretty exciting for me!!

It really looks different without the title etc. I loaded the cover up with lots of different stamps. (I'll link them at the bottom of this post.)

Do you recognize the "City Scape" stamp? I blew it up super big and then stamped all over it. This cover card measures 8.5 x 11.

If you know of any brides this spring or summer some of these stamps makes the perfect wedding themed card.

Are you one of those shoe people?? Can you tell what brand of designer shoes on the right I colored?
Isn't this pooch the sweetest little thing??

In this photo you really can see the background stamps on the building and grass.

If you draw fine lines with a micro marker (listed in supplies) you can really add some design and texture to your images as I did on the blazer.  The wedding dress is two layers of vellum. I used this technique.

I hope your week is off to a good start and thank you for stopping by. Hugs,Kathy
