make a color cart and giveaway and winner

Hello Friends, How are you? Is your week off to a good start? I am popping in today with a quick post. I wanted to share a fun way to make a color chart of the inks and or papers that you like to use on a regular basis. In my case these are the new inks with matching papers from Simon and I want to keep them at arms length. A long time ago I made a color chart for my distress inks. You can check it out here
Find a favorite stamp. I'm still into chevron so I used this one.
I wanted the coordinating card stock to show behind the stamped butterfly so I drew a quick line down the back and cut it off. Glue butterflies down on a canvas with some glossy accents.

LEAVE ME A COMMENT. DO YOU LOVE matching inks & papers? I WILL GIVEAWAY THESE BasicGrey goodies. Next week I will select a random winner.
See you on Friday for a Blog Hop with lots of chances to win!!
The winner of Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit as seen in this post is :
Number 22!! Super big congrats to Lori Wallace!! Woo Hoo Lori I have sent you an email. Have a great day everyone. Hugs, Kathy

Beautiful colour chart. I love matching papers and inks. I have some very old Stampin Up ones. Time for some new inks and some matching papers would be nice. Will look into the simon ones. Thanks for sharing.

LOVE your canvas. What a brilliant idea to show the new colour card stock and matching inks. Love what Simon has done with the line.I may have to get out some of my inks and play to make a canvas so I have something lovely in front of me. Love the matching things. Thanks. Karen

Oh, yes! That is half the battle of making a card work for me. If I have matching inks/papers it is so much easier to create a card that I like.

I recently bought a lot of inks to try this technique. I find that is has an elegant and subtile effect, though so simple to make:) The new SSS release is perfect for this! TFS!

I love your idea and I just bought the Paulina Butterfly die, so I am going to do this idea this weekend. And yes I love things to match - I find the paper pads are a great "go-to" for card making.

I love the idea of making something really useful that's also pretty enough to hang on the wall. I made a color chart but stuck it in my binder where I catalog my stamps. I really need to work on making things just to please myself in addition to dutifully making greeting cards for others.

the butterflies look super with their matching cardstock - I'd definitely need to have colour charts of these whilst working. How I wish Simon Says Stamp might have an outlet in the UK. I love working with monochrome colour schemes so my answer to your question is a resounding YES.
